  1. I am working with Tasha, Nicole and Keely. We have looked at Ray Allen, professional basketball player, scoring statistics. We have calculated an average mean value for his points scored per season by looking through his whole career which is 20 seasons played. We have taken his past 10 seasons and used the records of his points scored per season to create our sample.

  2. I am working with Sam and Cassandra and we are weighing peeps and doing (maybe) both a hypothesis test and CI. We obtained the mean weight and it does not match up with our measured data.

  3. Just kidding. Tasha, Keely, Nicole and I are counting red skittles to get a sample mean of how many red skittles are in each bag. We could not use the basketball facts because the population was not 10 times bigger then the sample.

  5. Our group will be myself, Caroline, Susie, and Nick, and we are weighing Hershey Kisses and doing a confidence interval. We got the mean weight from the Hershey Company, and our measurements do not match up with the company's mean weight.

    1. Will this be a hypothesis test against theHershey company pop mean? If you know the mean you wouldn't usually do a CI.

    2. We ended up not getting the correct mean from Hershey, we accidentally got the mean for a different type of Hershey Kisses. So we did a CI without knowing the true mean.
