This website was very helpful because it helps you understand when and how to use the different types of tests and it also helped with review for the test in may.
I really liked this website because it helped me learn how to choose which type of test to use. I had trouble with determining if a test was a mean test or hypothesis test.
I tried several plug-ins on both of my computers and I still couldn't get this website to work, in school or out of school. I will try to view the website on someone else's computer in class.
After using this website and completing 10 of the practice inference procedure problems I got 7/10 correct. I found the website to be very helpful especially when it comes to differentiating between confidence intervals and hypothesis tests, in addition to whether you're dealing with proportions or means. One difficulty I had was knowing when the problem was dealing with a Chi Square Test (but we haven't learned much about this yet). One clue i used and found helpful when answering the questions and selecting the correct answer was figuring out if the problem dealt with means or proportions and if there was one or two samples involved.
This website helped with overall review for the ap test. I as well had trouble knowing when the problem had to use a Chi Square Test since we did not learn much (except the knowledge I have from AP Bio) about this test
I got 7/10 correct. The website was helpful with determining which test to use and i think it was useful as an overall review. I struggled with the chi square test.
The plug in did not work for me, but I did it using someone else's computer. It was a useful tool for helping determine which inference test to use in different situations. We have not done a lot with chi squares so I didn't do that well on those questions.
The plug in did not work on my computer, but after several attempts on another computer it worked. I found this website helpful in preparation for the AP Test, because it helps better differentiate between different types of inference tests. I had trouble with some problems but with practice it will be a useful review.
I was unable to look at the website because the Java plug in did not work for my computer. I will try to see if I can borrow a different computer so hopefully I can get it to work.
This site was very useful in helping me determine which test to use based on the data that I am given. I have constantly struggled with this, so every tool is valuable to my learning for this reason. 7/10
This website was helpful to me once I installed the plug in. It was useful because it helped distinguish the differences between inference tests and what situations each test are best for. I got 7 correct out of the 10 problems.
In was still not able to get onto the website, but I looked at the problems that you posted and tried to answer the questions. These questions were helpful because I was able to see the differences between inference tests and distinguish which tests I should use for each situation. For the first problem I chose a hypothesis test of mean, second problem I did a chi square test for independence and for the third problem I did a chi square goodness of fit test. I am not sure if these are the exact correct ways to solve the problems, but it still helped me narrow down and eliminate other ways to solve the problems.
I was able to get it up on someone else's computer and the website was really helpful. It was a good review and helped me decide which inference test to use in different situations. I got 7/10 correct
I found these exercises extremely helpful in helping me get practice determining which kind of test to use. I got 7 out of 10 correct and had a little bit of trouble with the chi squares. For the most part, though, it was pretty simple since we just went over chi squares in class. I found it helpful taking time after reading the problem to determine whether the problem involves means or proportions.
I was able to find a computer that could access the activity, and the website was very helpful. I feel better about choosing inference tests, and I really liked the chi square review. I got 7/10 problems correct.
I was finally able to get the website to work and I thought it was helpful and a good way to better understand what we are learning. I think it is a good review for the AP test because it allows you to determine what kind of test to use. I had trouble on a few questions, but overall I found it beneficial.
The plug in doesn't work on my computer but I can see from the three posted screen shots that this is very helpful. Knowing the type of test is key in open response but also multiple choice to know what steps to take to solve the problem.
I got 6/10 correct. This was helpful especially because it gave hints when you got it wrong. The hardest ones for me were chi squares. For the four questions I got wrong, three of them were chi squares.
The plugin still does not work, but from the screenshots I can tell that this would be a very useful exercise to reinforce the idea of using the correct test for the problem.
I was able to get the plugin to work, I got 7/10 right, I found the website very helpful. It helped me to distinguish between different inference tests. I found that it was very helpful and a good review for the AP test. I found the Chi Squares easier then before because we practiced them in class a lot.
I couldn't do it on my own but the ones you posted where very helpful. I liked how they gave you a long list of possible answers. This way you know that it will be like the AP Exam because there are many choices to choose from. I was surprised to see that I got a few of them right. Overall, the website is very helpful because it provides you with a lot of information and helps guide you in the right direction.
The problems that you posted were very helpful in identifying which inference procedure to use. It was also helpful for me to use the flowchart that I had to make sure I was using the right process for determining the procedure. Hopefully I can remember all this stuff for the test!
